Restaurant-Terrasse Du Manoir: Reviews & Ratings
The location is amazing for lunch or during sunset if you can get a sit outside. I ordered the Sheppard pie and it was delicious and side salad was compliment to the pie. Service was nice enough but not over the top. The server I had spoke both French and English. I highly recommend this place for nice meal with a great view after nice walk around the waterfall. My visit was 05-31-2019 lunch time
My husband and I rode the cable car up to the manoir for a lunch. We both had pork back ribs (which is not bad) and a raspberry crumble for dessert (i thought it was so delicious!!). We had our table at the balcony, it has a scenic view. It is a very pleasant dining experience. We would definitely go back there again if we would have a chance.
Alain our waiter took very good care of our group of 8, explaining all the specials of the day and getting our orders right. The view is usually spectacular, however, we had thunder storms in the area and the covers were on. Highly recommend lunch there.
Before having a close up experience with the majestic Montmorency Falls, we had a late lunch at this restaurant, which unfortunately didn't quite meet our expectations. We ordered the fish and chips and the Gourmet bowl with smoked salmon. The fish and chips were average, possibly overcooked, with tough breading and an uneven, dark brown color, although the flavor was good. The accompanying chips were greasy and irregularly cut. The Gourmet bowl, which seemed pre-made and straight from the fridge, tasted good but was let down by the extremely salty roasted butternut squash. Despite being understaffed, the friendly and accommodating crew managed to deliver orders in a reasonable time. They also struggled to clear tables in the busy al-fresco dining area. Overall, the food quality didn't justify the prices, but the view was spectacular and we were seated promptly despite not calling ahead of time for reservation.
A lot of negative reviews here, but my wife had delicious burgers here (not dry at all like some other reviews). The staff was also very attentive and courteous
